Aquashine Injection_ What Is It and What are Its Benefits_

Aquashine Injection: What Is It and What Are Its Benefits?

What is the first thing that comes into your mind if you hear the word Aquashine Injection? Injection, right? Injection means pain, and no one wants to experience pain. Another thing that comes up is that Aquashine doesn’t have any particular effect on your skin. At least, not as drastic as having fillers or botox.

But that’s where you’re wrong. Aquashine has a lot to offer to improve your skin.

What is Aquashine?

Aquashine is a product made from mixing hyaluronic acid, amino acid, vitamin, antioxidants, and many more in one powerful blend. The main ingredient for this blend is Hyaluronic Acid, which balances the humidity balance of our skin. The antioxidant content of Aquashine also takes up a huge role in ensuring that your skin has a flawless and glowing appearance.

What is Aquashine Injection?

Aquashine Injection is also known as Aquashine Therapy. This is the name of the process of injecting Aquashine in your skin. The product is injected on your dermis— specifically the superficial layer of your skin.

Since this blend is applied to the superficial layer on your skin, the needle used is also very short. It’s short enough to reach the dermis layer of your skin only.

Aquashine Therapy is mainly given to people who want to improve their skin’s overall appearance. It minimizes the formation of fine lines, especially in places where fine lines commonly surface.

As early as now, I’m telling you, this procedure is NOT painful, and you’ll know why, later as you read on.

What are the benefits of Aquashine Injection?

Your skin can benefit a lot from an Aquashine Injection. As mentioned earlier, Aquashine’s main component is Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is known for its ability to alleviate dry skin and prevent fine-line formation. However, there’s more to it than that, Aquashine Injection can also do the following on your skin:

1. Stimulate Collagen Formation

As we age, our body’s collagen production lowers down, which explains why our skin’s elasticity is affected. This is why our skin gradually sags as we age. However, with such amount of Hyaluronic Acid injected on your skin, it stimulates Collagen Synthesis. This brings the collagen level of your skin back to its optimum level.

Collagen plays a huge role in improving your skin elasticity. It’s also responsible for strengthening your skin. With this benefit alone, you will notice a huge difference in your skin. But that’s not the entirety of it. Aquashine can bring you so much more.

2. Improve’s Skin Texture

As we age, our skin also does. It starts in our mid-20s, and from that point forward, there will be no stopping of skin aging. You may notice that your skin starts to get dry and fine lines starts to surface. You may also notice that your skin will not be as smooth as it used to be. Aquashine can greatly help you improve your skin’s texture.

Adding Hyaluronic Acid on your skin can boost your skin’s moisture. Aside from that, it also supplies your skin with the hydration it needs so your skin will no longer be dry. In return, it makes your skin soft and supple. You’ll also have a visibly glowing skin as the day goes on, after having the Aquashine Injection.

3. Reduces Large Pores

Not everyone has large pores, but it can be quite a nuisance for those who have this problem. One, large pores are not aesthetically pleasing as it makes your skin not flawless. If you’re someone who uses make-up, it’s more frustrating since your make-up settles on the large pores. It’s as if the pores are craters to be filled up.

Supplying your skin with Hyaluronic Acid can minimize your large pores. A study by Wei Qian from Capital Medical University and his team found that Hyaluronic Acid can reduce the size of your large pores. With your large pores reduced, your skin will look smooth and flawless.

Does Aquashine Injection have side effects?

Aquashine Injection doesn’t have any lasting side effects. The side effects you’ll have only lasts for a day or two. After that, there are no side effects, so don’t worry. The side effects you’re going to experience are solely from the procedure. These are tiny bumps and redness.

Since Aquashine will be directly injected on the superficial layer of the dermis, tiny bumps will surface. However, after 24 – 48 hours, Aquashine will be incorporated on your skin. Thus, the tiny bumps will be gone.

As for the redness, it occurs since Aquashine will be injected throughout your skin. One vial will be enough to be spread all over your face. This means your face will basically get injected with Aquashine. This may sound intimidating and, for some, outright horrifying— but don’t get scared.

The needle used for this specific procedure is thin and short, so you will hardly have some bruising. Most doctors apply numbing cream or numbing gel all over your face to reduce the pain you’re going to be experiencing.

How long does the procedure last?

The procedure is relatively short as it lasts for only 10 – 15 minutes. As mentioned earlier, the needle that’s going to be used is thin and short, so there will be less bruising.

How many days until the injection will take effect?

The effects will start to surface from 2 – 5 days since it will take a while for the blend to be fully incorporated on your body.

Is the procedure painful?

As accounted for by the people who went through this procedure, Aquashine Injection is NOT painful. The reason for this is that the needle used for injecting Aquashine is short and very thin. Numbing cream is also applied, which reduces the pain that’s going to be experienced by the client.

Takeaways

Aquashine Injection may sound intimidating at first. Especially because it means you’re going to be injected all over your face, and that sounds like a lot of pain. But Most patients who went through this procedure say that they could hardly feel any pain during the procedure. So, for the most part, you’re just making your skin look and feel better.

How Fillers for Acne Scars Can Make Your Skin Flawless

How Fillers for Acne Scars Can Make Your Skin Flawless

We’re all scared of getting acne and pimples, so we make sure that we keep your skin clean and dirt free. However, unwanted acne is, they will always find ways to pop out, ruin your skin, and sometimes leave you a mark. Although this scar is pretty stubborn, you can still get rid of it using the best fillers for acne scars.

Acne scars are not only skin deep, but it can also affect our self-esteem. If you still haven’t got them, make sure you keep it that way. But if you already do, don’t worry, we can use fillers for acne scars.

What Are Acne Scars?

Acne Scars are the results of your inflamed pores and Acne. Most of the time, Acne gets healed over time, and will restore your skin into its former unblemished state. However, for others, these Acne becomes shallow scars that will remain on your skin forever. Acne Scars can be as bad as it sounds since the self-esteem of people who have them can get affected.

Types of Acne Scars

There are several types of acne scars. However, we’ll be talking about the two main ones.

These are:

  • Keloid or Hypertrophic Scarring
  • Depressed or Atrophic Scarring

Keloid or Hypertrophic Scarring

These scars appear whenever your system produces more collagen that your skin needs in order for your acne scar to heal. In results, you will have a slightly protruding scar which has a darker tone than the rest of your skin.

Depressed or Atrophic Scarring

Depressed Scars are the opposite of the Keloid scarring. For this specific type of Scarring, the skin tissue is lacking, which results in depressed and shallow areas. There are also two different types of Acne Scarring.

These are the Icepick Scars and Boxcar Scars

Icepick scars are commonly small but are still visible on the skin, while Boxcar Scars are the large ones. Its usually in an oval or round shape with steeply angled sides.

Why Do We Have Them?

Our skin has our own healing mechanism, which is the reason why the most shallow ones will be healed without forming a scar. Scars only happen when the Acne is too deep. These usually occur when the walls of your pores have a deep break, enough to affect its surrounding skin tissues. Giving you a deeper lesion.

Your immune system will then try to heal these deep lesions by sending collagen to the affected area. However, since the wound is too deep, sometimes your skin will send out more collagen, and sometimes lesser collagen, than your skin, actually needs. Resulting in acne scars.

How to Prevent Getting Acne Scars?

Simple, just don’t pick your Acne and pimples.

I know picking your Acne and pimple is very satisfying, but please, for the sake of your skin, don’t. Picking your Acne and poking it will only invite more bacteria than you already have. If that happens, instead of healing, your Acne will get worse with deeper lesions. So next time you see acne and is calling for you to poke it, don’t.

However, if you already did, make sure you clean it up in order to prevent it from spreading. For cleaning it, you must get 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide and 1 part water solution. This way, the lesion will be dried out, preventing any bacterial growth. Fewer bacteria means lesser infection and Scarring.

How To Use Hyaluronic Acid Fillers for Acne Scars?

If your acne lesions have become an acne scar and are beyond the prevention stage, don’t worry, you can still use Hyaluronic Acid Fillers for acne scars. The filler is injected directly on your scars. By filling up your dermis with the Hyaluronic Acid, the shallow parts of your acne scar will be filled. Restoring your formerly depressed scars.

There are several types of fillers that you can use for this. The filler that will be used on your skin will depend on how deep the scars are. This way, the volume of the Hyaluronic Acid Filler will be able to fill out the shallow parts completely. The great thing about Hyaluronic Acid is that they’re deeply moisturizing by nature. Injecting it on your skin means your skin will benefit from its moisture too.

What Are Its Benefits?

  • Non-Invasive

As compared to most treatment for acne scars, Hyaluronic Acid is considered to be non-invasive. This means cutting your skin open is not a requirement. The procedure only requires injection as a tool, and nothing else. Aside from that, the procedure can also be done within minutes and not hours.

  • Pain-Free Procedure

Another great thing about using Hyaluronic Acid Fillers for your Acne Scars is that it’s not painful. Especially since before the procedure, you will be given a numbing cream or gel, which will be applied to the areas where the filler will be applied. This way, you won’t feel the pain during the procedure.

To add with that, some Hyaluronic Acid Fillers contain Lidocaine, which also numbs down your pain receptors and nerves, so you will feel less pain, even after the effects of the numbing cream has worn out.

  • Affordable

As compared to most treatment for acne scars, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers are reasonably low-cost. Which is a great thing, knowing that acne scarring is a very common problem.

Preparation Needed for the Procedure

Ask for your doctor’s opinion. Nothing beats the opinion of the person who has known your medical history. Your doctor knows you very well and can even give you great Hyaluronic Acid Filler recommendations. They can even give you insights on how you can stay away from acne scarring.

What To Expect After the Procedure

If you had Hyaluronic Acid Fillers injected on your skin, you’d most likely experience slight bruising, redness and swelling on the injected area. However, these will not last longer than a week. Having fillers don’t need a lot of recovery time since its a non-invasive procedure. Which means you can return to your daily routine, hours, or days after the procedure. Depending on what the doctor had instructed.

Takeaways

Acne Scars have an immense effect on us that it can even affect our mental and emotional health. You can use Hyaluronic Acid Fillers for acne scars to get rid of these unwanted skin blemish and boost your self-esteem up.

How to Get Rid of Forehead Wrinkles Fast_

How to Get Rid of Forehead Wrinkles Fast?

Forehead wrinkles are inevitable, but this doesn’t mean we love having it. If you’re looking for ways on how to get rid of forehead wrinkles fast, you’re on the page.

What are forehead wrinkles?

You may have noticed lines surfacing on your forehead whenever you raise both your brows. The lines that get formed from it are called forehead wrinkles. Everyone has these lines; even babies have it, especially if they move their brows. These lines are usually not visible, especially if the area around your forehead is not moving.

However, as we age, our skin loses its skin elasticity, which means your skin won’t be as tight as it was back when you were in your teenage years. Think of it as a scrunchie. If you constantly use it and stretch it out, it will eventually lose its elasticity. The same thing happens to your skin.

As our skin loses its elasticity, lines and wrinkles start to surface, and forehead wrinkles are one of them.

Also known as glabellar lines, forehead wrinkles are the lines on your forehead. Forehead lines are nothing to be feared since it’s not a threat to your health. However, for some, forehead wrinkles are a problem since it will make them look older than they already are. It is urging them to search for ways on how to get rid of forehead wrinkles.

Before we get into that, let’s first find out why we have forehead wrinkles.

What causes wrinkles on the forehead?

Forehead wrinkles surface due to our frontalis muscle. These muscles can be found on our forehead. Whenever we raise our eyebrows, this muscle contracts. This causes your skin to be pulled up. Hence the wrinkles appear on our forehead.

As mentioned earlier, back when we were young, our skin will be able to bounce back to its usual state. However, as we age, our skin elasticity lessens and pulled skin won’t be able to return to its usual spot, resulting in a forehead wrinkle.

To simply say it, it’s the combination of constant frowning and the losing of our skin elasticity.

3 Ways to Reduce Forehead Wrinkles

Although forehead wrinkles are harmless and are not a threat to our health, we still don’t want to have it. Here’s how you can reduce forehead wrinkles.

1. Protect Your Skin from the Sun’s UV Rays

If you find yourself always exposed to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, you’re well on your way to a forehead wrinkle. Sun’s UV Rays can greatly contribute to your skin’s early skin aging. So before you step out and expose yourself outside, make sure you applied your sunscreen. Wearing sunscreen slows down the skin aging as well as the emerging of your dark spots. Choose a sunscreen with SPF15 or higher to keep your skin well protected.

2.Have a Balanced Diet

Always remember that the food you eat will always decide how you look. This is also applicable to wrinkle. Research back in 2007 says that diet has a huge role in skin aging. According to the research taking linolenic acid, a type of omega-3 fatty acid, and Vitamin C can reduce dry skin. Aside from that, Vitamin C can also be linked to having lesser wrinkle formations.

Additionally, if you eat foods that are rich in fat and carbohydrates, then you’re on, you’re well on your way to a forehead wrinkle. If you want to prevent wrinkle formations, always keep an eye on what you eat.

3. Drink Lots of Water

Dry skin makes fine lines and forehead wrinkles more noticeable and prominent. Not drinking enough water for the day will definitely make your skin dry as you’re not drinking enough water that your body needs. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Now, if you’re someone who often works out or spends a long time under the sun, then drink more.

If you’re not a fan of water, you can always add lemon or any fruit infuser to add more flavor to water.

How to get rid of forehead wrinkles fast?

There are lots of ways to blur out those forehead wrinkles. These are through Hyaluronic Acid Fillers and Botox

1. Hyaluronic Acid Filler

Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Fillers are fillers that are made from Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is a gel-like substance that exists in our body, especially along with your connective tissues. HA Fillers are temporary dermal fillers that are injected on shallow areas of your face, such as fine lines, deep depressions, and wrinkles. HA Fillers can remove forehead wrinkles as they fill out the shallow area of your face to get rid of the wrinkle.

2. Botox

Botulinum toxin, commonly known as Botox, is a type of toxin which paralyzes your muscles. Once your muscles are paralyzed, it relaxes. As mentioned earlier, forehead wrinkle is caused by the contraction of your frontalis muscle. If this muscle is relaxed, it gets rid of your forehead wrinkle and brings your smooth and wrinkle-free forehead.

The only catch when using Botox is that over time, we lose our facial volume, which will only lead to sagging skin.

Takeaways

If you’re looking for ways on how to get rid of your forehead wrinkles fast, you can always count on Hyaluronic Acid Fillers or Botox. You can always choose between the two, but remember, with Botox, your skin may sag. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers fill the gap up to tighten the skin around the area.

Your Guide to Lip Fillers_ Why You Should Not Be Scared of It

Your Guide to Lip Fillers: Why You Should Not Be Scared of It

Have you ever looked at the mirror and asked yourself how you would look with a plumper lips? That you would no longer contour it to give you that voluminous look?

Hyaluronic Acid Lip Filler is perfect for you. Why? These lip fillers are not permanent and can be taken out easily. However, it also lasts for a long time if you ever love that look. Plus, it locks in the moisture on the injected area.

Before we answer the big question— why Hyaluronic Acid Lip Fillers are not scary, lets first learn about lip fillers in general.

What Are Lip Fillers?

If you follow the Kardashians or even heard of them, then you may be quite familiar with Lip Fillers. These are injectable substances that are injected on your lips to give it a plumper and fuller lips. What makes it special, though, is its non-invasive nature. Especially since most of the time, whenever we hear the word lip augmentation, we immediately associate it with surgery.

That’s no longer the case.

Lip Fillers are, in no cases, invasive. This means your skin won’t be cut up in the process. All that’s needed is an injection. In fact, the procedure can easily be completed within a matter of minutes. However, there are types of lip fillers that need to be done through surgery, which we’ll talk about later in this blog.

Aside from that, the result that these lip fillers give looks subtle enough to look natural, but plump enough to be noticed. What makes this even better is that lip fillers are not permanent. So, if you don’t really dig the look that the filler has given you, you can have it removed. Another thing about lip fillers is that it can last from 6 months up to 2 years, depending on the brand that you chose.

Different Types of Lip Fillers

There are three different kinds of lip fillers to choose from, these are the:

  • Hyaluronic Acid Lip Fillers
  • Permanent Silicone Lip Fillers
  • Collagen Lip Fillers
  • Hyaluronic Acid Lip Fillers

Deeply hydrating lip fillers with the capacity to lock in the moisture within the area where the filler is injected. This makes it ideal for enhancing your lips. Common lip fillers only last for 6 months to 1 year. ReMedium Lip Fillers can provide a natural-looking fill, which can last up to 2 years. A lot of people prefer this kind of filler since it looks natural once it is injected, and it can be taken out anytime you want.

  • Permanent Silicone Lip Fillers

Although lip fillers, in general, are semi-permanent, this one earned its name since unlike any other lip fillers, Permanent Silicone Lip Fillers doesn’t come in a liquid form. It has a lip-like shape that will then be implanted on your lips through surgery. This is the only type of lip filler that needs a surgical procedure.

Note: If this is your first time, injecting lip fillers, you shouldn’t chose this type of filler since its invasive and it takes some time before the wounds heal.

  • Collagen Lip Fillers

These lip fillers are similar to the Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, which come in a gel-like form. The only difference between the two is that Collagen is not hydrating to the skin. Collagen can also be built up to give you the desired shape and volume that you want. These types of fillers usually last for a long time. However, with the latest advancements that are done on Hyaluronic Acid Fillers, fillers like ReMedium have exceeded its life span.

Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Be Scared of Lip Fillers

1. It’s Not As Painful As You Think

If you’re worried about the needle injection, don’t worry, no one likes them. The great thing about Hyaluronic Acid Fillers is that the doctor will apply a numbing agent so you won’t feel the injection during the procedure. Once the filler has been injected, the doctor will gently massage your lips so the filler will be evenly distributed.

2. It is Not Made of Chemicals

Hyaluronic Acid may sound scary, but it is not. In fact, we have this very Acid in our connective tissues and joints, Its main job is to lock the moisture in and keep these areas well hydrated. This special feature of Hyaluronic Acid makes them ideal for lip fillers. Its water-locking feature is able to hold in the moisture to keep your lips looking plump.

3. It’s Looks Natural

Perhaps you have seen too much of botched surgeries which looks nowhere near natural and you’re scared of that. Don’t worry Hyaluronic Acid Fillers don’t change the shape of your lips. It only fills out some parts of your lips. It is more of an enhancer than a lip-shape changer, which means you will only add more volume to your lips. Not changing the shape itself to give you a subtle and natural-looking finish.

Plus, if you don’t dig the look, you can easily take it out. How cool is that?

4. People Will NOT Judge You

First of all, don’t— it is your lips, and it is going to boost your self-esteem. Think of the end result. You have been insecure with your lips. With this change, you will have a boost in your self confidence together with your lip enhancement. Plus, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers give you a natural-looking results.

How long do lip fillers last?

There are different types lip fillers which may last from 6 – 9 months, however it may even be lesser for some. However, if you’re using a Semi-Permanent filler, it can last for 1 – 2 years which is great for those who want their fillers to last longer.

Takeaways

We have created a list, just for you. But before we learn about the benefits of fillers. Let us first find out what fillers are, in general.

What are Fillers?

You may be aware by now that as we age, our skin loses its elasticity. This means that as we grow older, we will get wrinkles. No one likes to have wrinkles since its a mark of old age— and we don’t want to be marked as old. Fillers are created to fill out your wrinkles, giving you younger-looking skin.

The most popular dermal filler today is the Hyaluronic Acid Fillers. Not only does it reduce your wrinkles and make you look younger, but it can also moisturize your skin. The reason for this is that this filler is made up of Hyaluronic Acid, which has the ability to lock in moisture and distribute it to your skin whenever your skin needs it.

Certainly, the benefits of cheek fillers are uncountable.

Why Do We Need Them?

Fillers can be used in a lot of ways, but mostly for aesthetics. Fillers were created to get rid of the wrinkles that bother us, which can even drag our self-confidence. However, the uses of fillers are not limited to only that. Fillers can also be used to enhance our features such as our nose, our lips, and our cheeks.

What are the Benefits of Fillers?

  • Quick Results

One of the great things that make Hyaluronic Acid Fillers extra special is the low downtime or short recovery time that it needs. Add the immediate results to the mix, and you have a genuinely satisfying result. To give you a bit of a background, most of the procedures when it comes to reducing your fine lines and wrinkles, can take up weeks to months.

The same will also happen if you won’t use fillers to enhance your assets. However, using fillers, you’ll get immediate results. Although for some cases (which is rare), you may get bruising, swelling, and redness, it won’t last longer than a week. To add to that, the swelling will not be too large on the injected sections.

Because of its low downtime, getting a filler is also known as a lunchtime facelift since the procedure doesn’t take that long and can be done in less than an hour.

  •  Lasts for a Long Time

Your typical Hyaluronic Acid filler can last from either 6 months up to 2 long years, depending on the brand and type of filler that you’re using. Since the filler can last for a long time, you will no longer pay your doctor a visit every now and then. This means you get to save more money since you won’t be needing any touch-ups and re-injection of the filler for a short period of time.

  • Natural Looking Results

Another great thing about dermal fillers is that they can give you natural-looking results. This means that your face won’t look botched when you use fillers. Fillers are created to give you a lift that’s subtle enough to look natural, but not small enough to be ignored. This means that you can mask your filler in the form of a glow-up.

So, if you’re looking for something that can help you get rid of your wrinkles or enhance your feature, Hyaluronic Acid is definitely for you. Who doesn’t want to have a natural-looking filler? With dermal fillers, people won’t even bat a notice that you’ve had some fillers on, that’s how natural it looks. What they do notice is your glow-up.

  • Moisturizing

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers are also deeply moisturizing. If you’re not familiar with Hyaluronic Acid, this is a gel-like substance that can be found in our connective tissues and skin. What it does is it captures water and locks them in so your connective tissues and skin to keep them moisturized and hydrated. This is also the reason why Hyaluronic Acid Fillers can give you natural-looking results.

Because of this Hyaluronic Acid Fillers hold the same ability which is to moisturize your skin, specifically on the area where it is injected. Keeping your skin well hydrated and moisturized. Not only that, but it can also give you great volume when after the filler has been injected, due to its water retention ability.

  • Boosts Your Self Confidence

Last but not least, Hyaluronic Acid Fillers can boost your confidence. We all have insecurities. It can be your wrinkles, your nose, your lips, and other things that can cause us to feel insecure. Using Hyaluronic Acid Fillers can give your self-esteem a great boost. Suppose your thin lips are what’s causing you to feel insecure. Fillers can help you boost it by getting lip fillers.

You have to make sure that the doctor or practitioner who’s going to do the procedure is licensed and knows what they are doing. Not only that, but you will also be able to get the aesthetic that you want for your face. With the Hyaluronic Acid’s natural-looking results, you will feel at ease.

Different Types of Facial Fillers

Your Guide to Different Types of Facial Fillers

As we add more years to our lives, we look older. This is just the natural process, however, nowadays, more and more people are still younger looking, even if they have already passed their prime years. What you may not know is that most of these people are using different types of facial fillers to fill out their fine lines and wrinkles.

What Are Facial Fillers?

Facial Fillers are substances that are injected within your fine or deep lines, folds, and tissues. Its goal is to reduce your wrinkles and fine lines, giving you a youthful appearance. Facial Fillers are either made up of naturally occurring substances such as hyaluronic acid or synthetic materials.

There are different types of Facial Fillers, and we’re going to talk about them later in this article. Different types of fillers were created to cater to the different areas were fillers are mostly injected. Each of your facial parts has a certain amount of filler and flexibility in order for it to give it you natural-looking results.

What Are Facial Fillers For?

As we age, our skin loosens up, and the tightness of our skin, which allows us to look younger, is affected. This can result in unwanted lines, such as fine lines and wrinkles. Facial Fillers can greatly help you reverse time and give you younger-looking skin. It can be injected beneath your fine lines so you will have younger-looking skin.

Aside from that, it can also be used to enhance your facial features and make it more prominent. Enhance being the word since it doesn’t really change your appearance, contrasting to surgeries, which can really alter your facial features. Fillers can enhance your features such as nose, lips, cheeks, and others by adding more volume to the area where the filler is injected.

What Are the Different Types of Facial Fillers?

  • Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Fillers

It may sound dangerous because it has the word Acid, but trust me, it is not. Hyaluronic Acid is a gel-like substance that exists in our body. Its main task is to keep your connective tissues and your skin moist and well hydrated. It has the ability to lock in the water on the part where it is injected. Because of this, it can give you a good amount of volume when it is injected.

Another defining feature with Hyaluronic Acid us that it is ideal for smoothing your wrinkles and fine lines out, especially on your lips, eyes, and forehead area. Fillers that are made from Hyaluronic Acid generally only last for 6 – 12 months. However, today, some of HA Fillers can even last up to years. The great thing about HA Fillers is that it can be easily removed.

  • Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) Fillers

Not a very common filler, Calcium Hydroxylapatite Fillers uses Calcium and adds it to the filler or gel, which is then injected. This Calcium is in the form of microscopic particles, so it doesn’t create bumps once it is injected.

The gel for the Calcium Hydroxylapatite Fillers has a thicker consistency as compared to the Hyaluronic Acid fillers. Calcium Hydroxylapatite Fillers work best when it is used as a filler for deep wrinkles.

  • Poly-L-lactic Acid Fillers

Poly-L-lactic Acid is a biodegradable acid. It works by stimulating your skin to produce collagen, instead of actually ‘filling’ out your wrinkles. This is the reason why the fillers of this type are firm and voluminous. Poly-L-lactic Acid Fillers are ideal for those who have deep wrinkles. It can also be used to add fats to the area where you have lost fats.

The downside of this filler is that it works gradually, and its results can often be seen after two years minimum. The number can vary from one brand to another, depending on the filler’s construct. Because of this, Poly-L-lactic Acid Fillers are often regarded as a Semi-Permanent filler.

  • Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) Fillers

Polymethylmethacrylate Fillers contain a lot of tiny microscopic balls, which is commonly known as microspheres. Aside from that, it also contains Collagen, which is the main ingredient for giving your skin a good amount of plump. This filler’s effects can last up to 5 years, which is why a lot of doctors regard Polymethylmethacrylate Filler as a permanent filler.

Polymethylmethacrylate Fillers is known as the filler that develops a lot of complications such as nodules and infections. This is the reason why this is commonly the last on the list when it comes to recommending fillers.

  • Autologous Fat Injections (Fat Grafting)

This type of filling out is different from the rest of our listed fillers. The reason for this is that with the Autologous Fat Injections, the fat from any of your body parts will be taken out. It will then be used to fill out your wrinkles and fine lines.

Among our list of fillers, this is the only one that involves liposuction and incisions. These are just some of the crucial parts for this type of filler procedure since the fat that is taken out will be used to fill out the area that you want to be filled with. The positive thing about this is that since your own body fat is used, the filled out part will look natural on your skin. The downside for this is that you need a week or two to become fully healed.
